Quinn or QRL Radiators are the only British manufactured range of designer radiators on the market. The vast range encompasses designer models, vertical models as well as more traditional column type radiators. They also have a panel range that includes the Hi-Lo Roundtop range that are made to a higher specification than similar radiators from other brands.
QRL radiators offer different types of models to suit premises as varied as cottage lounges through to modern open plan offices. Quinn offer a vast amount of colours, over 180 different types of RAL colours that can be made to order from red through to gun metal and blue. All the designer range are manufactured in Port Talbot from Imported, luxury Italian steel and finished in a powder coat colour of your choice.
The designer range include some flat panelled panel radiators (Ligna, Slieve) and fin or tube based radiators such as the Forza that resembles traditional cast iron column radiators but at a much more affordable price. Every Quinn radiator whether designer or panel are all tested to BS EN 442 which is the European quality standard for radiators that certifies the quality of the units.
Due to the variety of locations these radiators are found, each designer radiator will come with variable heights and widths. We can also offer radiators of custom dimensions (not shown on our site) on a slightly longer lead time as these can be manufactured to order.
As part of the designer range detailed above, the majority of the radiators are also available in a vertical shape rather than the traditional horizontal. As vertical radiators are generally around 1.5 to 2 metres tall, they take up space that isn't useful as it is high up on a wall near the ceiling.
Compare this to horizontal models that are commonly found at a lower level which effects a users capability to furnish their home as they want to, limiting where sofas, cupboards and TV stands can be placed.
The panel radiator range include the Hi-Lo round top range that features less water and more heating fins than competitors models of the same roundtop range. Some of the other ranges also containing this third generation technology include the Lignaa
All of the QRL range are wet system radiators meaning they are plumbed in with the exception of the Electric Towel Radiators.
The pressure bar readings are listed below for each of the QRL ranges:
Topaz Radiators, All Slieve Radiators, Adagio Radiators, Plaza Radiators, Pearl Radiators: Max Operating Pressure: 4 Bar
Forza Radiators, Compla vertical and horizontal, Ligna Max Operating Pressure: 10 Bar
Crystal Radiators: Max Operating Pressure: 5.8 Bar
Each radiator regardless of design, shape or size is manufactured from 1.2mm DC01 Steel and BS EN 10130/10131. This is cold low rolled carbon steel that showcases the strength and reliability of the QRL range.
We have access to every single model number of the QRL range and we stock the majority of the most popular models that we aim to deliver between 2-3 days. More bespoke models can be delivered to your address within 4 weeks and we will be happy to advise on either wattage, design or specification queries.
