Product information

Specifications
Brand - Heatstore
Height - 16 cm
Width - 30.7 cm
Depth - 7.4 cm
  • This Heatstore water heater provides a fantastic 9500 watt capacity for quickly heating water on demand either through a shower or sinks/basins
  • As you demand water by turning a tap, water is passed through the powerful yet efficient unit to instantly turn the water from cold to hot
  • The hot water supplied is satisfactory for a shower or multiple  basins, or a mixture of the two (1 shower, 1 basin)
  • The water heater is flexible in that it can be placed either under or over a sink and not limiting your choice to either a under or over sink model.
  • The temperature of the water is stabilised on installation using a stable control valve to ensure the temperature remains at a safe level to avoid any risk of scalding
  • The unit has no standing heat losses and avoids the need of heating 10-15 litres of water for simply washing your hands, as occurs with storage type water heaters
  • Incredible efficiency with an energy rating of A for saving water, electric and energy throughout your home.
  • These HM Heatstore models can work with 1/4 turn spray taps for flexibility in use as well as being fitted when required with the separate shower mixer kit that is detailed below in the optional accessory section.
  • Additional information: A standard 45 amp cord operated isolator switch is recommended.
  • These units are ideal for washing hands in a basin or showers.
  • They are not suitable for use in kitchen sinks or baths.

can the multiflow instantaneous water heater 9.5kw be plumbed into a unvented hot feed and what would be its maximum flow rate
This water heater cannot be plumbed into an unvented hot feed. This unit should be fitted directly to the cold water supply. The maximum flow rate would be 6L per minute.
Can this be fitted to the bath only? My boiler has broken down but need bathing facilities
We would not recommend this water heater to supply water to a bath. We would recommend the storage type water heaters. Please follow the link below to an example.

Is 9.5 kw the standard size heater for a domestic situation?
This water heater is a standard size to supply water to a shower and one hand basin or two hand basins. We would not recommend it for any other use.
I NEED TO REPLACE ONE OF THESE HEATERS ,WHICH KEEPS CUTTING OUT,AFTER 4 YEARS OF USE MY W HEATER USES A MIXER TAP WOULD I GET BETTER PERFORMANCE IF I HAD SEPERATE HOT AND COLD TAPS MARTIN
This unit will run just as efficiently whether using separate taps or a mixer tap.
Which unit would be most suitable to use with a washing up sink and a hand wash basin, please?
We would not recommend this water heater to sufficiently provide hot water to a sink and a hand wash basin. However, we would recommend a storage water heater of at least 15L for very light use. For heavier use, we would recommend at least 30L. Please follow the links below for examples:

i have 2 showers, 2 sinks and a kitchen sink. as there are only 2 people living in the house, it is unlikely that more than 1 tap at a time would be in use. on this understanding, would your unit suffice? also would it be ok to use in spain. would you pos
This particular water heater would not be sufficient for your requirements. For this usage you would require a more powerful water heater such as the one below:

http://www.hygienesuppliesdirect.com/products/prod231818-zip-dex-instantaneous-water-heater

All our water heaters are manufactured to operate on UK mains 230V electricity. We would advise you to contact a qualified electrician to confirm whether any of our water heaters would work with your set-up in Spain before purchasing.
my Friends want to change there old electric immersion & loft cold tank to an instant water heater, they want to supply hot water to a bath/a shower/ a hand basin & a kitchen sink, what would be the best one for them consider. thanks G Lillywhite
This water heater would not be suitable for the demand on the outlets. We would suggest an instant water heater like the one below (but would recommend you to check with a qualified electrician if your electricity circuit could cope with the Kw of the heater):

is this a standard plug for power ?
No, this water heater cannot be installed with a standard plug. It must have its own fused spur, and we would recommend you have it installed by a qualified Electrician who will know the correct size fuse to use.
