how much heat does a 2ft tube generate please? I want to heat a wooden box 3ft x 4ft x 2ft to 20C or 70F and maintain it at that temperature to keep at risk lambs warm. would I need a fan as well to keep the warm air circulating ?
The surface temperature of this tubular heater will reach around 80 degrees celcius. However this will not be the temperature of the surrounding air. This will depend on many factors such as external temperature and the conditions of the area to be warmed (insulation etc). Therefore we cannot give a temperature for this. We do recommend that if you choose to use a tubular heater around animals, you must use this with a guard to protect the animal from coming into direct contact with the heater.
