The powerful and easy to use fumer for effective control of crawling and flying insects such as fleas, bed-bugs, ants cockroaches, stored product insects etc. and flying insects such as houseflies, cluster flies, fruit flies, wasps, moths in the situations shown below. Forte Fog Fumers are easy to use multi-purpose products using an insecticide of low mammalian toxicity for insect control in enclosed spaces in hard to treat areas without the need for additional spray equipment. Forte Fog Fumers are the strong fumer alternative. Forte Fog Fumers are ideal for use in areas that are difficult to control by normal spraying methods or where the spraying of water or solvent based insecticides is not possible or desirable.

The safe use of insecticides and the avoidance of operator contamination is becoming more and more important to professional and private pest control operators. With Forte Fog Fumers operator contamination is eliminated and risk of spillage removed completely. Forte Fog Fumers are ready to use. They are completely self-contained. No additional chemicals are needed. No mixing or complicated calculations are required. Light the fuse and walk away; it couldn't be easier.

Forte Fog Fumers are at least 25% more powerful than comparable products on the market. The additional killing power is a security cushion to provide extra confidence to the user that the right product has been chosen.

Forte Fog Fumers do not have a lingering smell and whilst the smoke should not be breathed it is not pungent nor does it leave any residual smell or deposit once the treatment is complete.

Uses The fog will control insects present at the time of treatment by direct contact action (space treatment). Forte Fog Fumers may be used in the following situations:

Area of Use Examples
Domestic: Private housing kitchens, Bedrooms/Beds, garages and stores etc.
Food handling Processing: food manufacture, kitchens, slaughterhouses, etc.
Storage: food retailers, warehouses, raw material stores etc.
Preparation: restaurants, commercial kitchens, etc.
Public Buildings: Hospitals, hotels, public baths, municipal buildings, churches, halls, community centres, cinemas, etc.
Animal Premises: Small scale pet shops, kennels, veterinary practices, laboratory animal houses etc.
Grain Stores Silos, etc.
Forte Fog Fumers may be used to treat empty bins and stores, or in spaces where stored foodstuffs are protected from deposits of the insecticide by means of a simple covering. Delicate fabrics such as silk or rayon (viscose) should not be exposed to the smoke.

When fumers are used in the control of fleas or bed bugs, the following additional measures are recommended.

Fleas: to ensure control of infestations associated with domesticated animals, the animal(s) should be treated with a suitable dust, shampoo or dip, and their bedding and other infested areas should also be treated with fumers or insect powder, following thorough cleaning of the premises.

Bed bugs: thorough cleaning, including laundering of bedding, will also assist the control of bed-bug infestations. In addition, the bed and mattress should be treated with fumers or insect powder.

Fortefog Mini Fumers should be applied at the following rate

Flying insects such as Flies, Mosquitoes, moths, cluster flies – 1 fumer per 120cubic metres

Fleas – 1 fumer per 30 cubic metres

Bed Bugs, Ants, Cockroaches and other crawling insects - 1 fumer per 7.5 cubic metres.

For the extermination of crawling insects (eg bed bugs, fleas) we recommend a combination of fumers and surface treatments for maximum eradication. Repeat treatments may be necessary Please see our section on pest control kits.

Each Fumer smokes for between 40 seconds to a minute.

had a problem with fleas that sprays did not cope with. This product helped to get into the corners and places that I was missing. I also used it in the garage where I was not able to spray. The house needed a lot of airing afterwards as the smell of smoke lingered but worth the results. Did have a the odd flea still alive but hoovering got rid of them. Would use it again much easier than continually spraying everywhere.

I recieved my order the day after I ordered it and was surprised to see how small the mini fumers were (I should have guessed by the name!). Anyway, I only used one in my loft and I haven't seen a cluster fly since! I'm sure they'll be back next Spring, but this time I'm ready!

brilliant product after inheriting a cat and the fleas that came with it, we were quoted £100 from a pest control company to dispense with them(local councils do not have pest control due to cut backs)this product did the job effectively for a fraction of the cost, easy to use, non messy. Thanks

Frequently asked questions

Hi there. I am currently 5 months pregnant and think that fleas may have been brought into our bed-sit from transporting clothes in black bags from my Mums house over 30 miles away where she had pets. I am really worried because we don't have any carpet
Using these fumers will be fine but please make sure you read our instructions and follow them carefully and that you will have enough of the fumers for your room size.
You must retreat when using these products as any eggs left over will need to be eliminate as soon as they hatch.
You are fine to leave the clothes in the room when doing this but you may want to use our protector c and residex p as well to use on your bed and any crackes and crevices you have in the room.
I must stress that what ever product/products you decided to use you must work out how much you need for your room size in order to eliminate the problem and you must retreat.
The protector c is 20ml of product per square metre.
The fumers are your room size in metres
eg length 4m x width 5m x height 2.5 with mini fumers you divide for fleas by 30 this works out at 1.666 please always round up as you need to make sure you have enough product for your room so this would mean you need 2 mini fumers.
With the same length, width and height with midi fumers for fleas you divide by 100 which works out as 0.5 therefore you would need one midi fumer.
its it safe to use whilst the cats are still in the house? i also have a mother and kittens at home is it safe to use around her? she will be put in another area but will it be ok to return her the next day? how far away from the bomb must they be? kind r
As long as you and your pets are out of the room while the fumers are on you are fine to return back to the room once the smoke has dispersed and the room has been aired out.
Advised time of 3 hours later.
if I use the fumers in a baby bedroom with her cloths in an open walk in style room, would i have to wash all her clothes? many thanks
No, you would not have to wash the baby clothes. It is safe to leave them in the room when treating with the fumers.
...will these kill the flea's and their eggs? Just wondering if we will need to treat the house again if a news ones hatch
We always advise re-treating 7-10 days later to ensure any hatched out eggs are treated.
Hi, will the fumer kill ants
Yes, these fumers will kill ants.
Hi, can i use fumers in my kitchen if so what do i do
Fumers can be used in the kitchen area. However, we would recommend to remove any opened packets of food from the area being treated. We would also recommend to remove any fish tank/bowl as this product can be harmful to aquatic life. Please ensure you have disconnected any smoke alarms in the area, and finally, once the fumers have been used, thoroughly wash any work surfaces where there is food preparation.
Hi, we have a huge problem with flies in our loft, are these safe to use in a loft especially where there aren't any floor boards covering the insulation.
The fumers do need to be placed on an even surface, on a heat proof plate or tray. We would not recommend to use them if there was danger of the fumer falling over.
I have a suspected nest of fruit flies in my shed, however I have rabbits, hamsters and a chinchilla kept in there, will the after effect of this cause any harm? Is it safe around rodents?
The pets must be removed from the treated area when setting the fumers off, but once the shed had been ventilated after use, you can return your pets there.
HI, will the treatment erradicate wood beetles/wood worms? Thank you
The fumers will only be affective on the wood beetles/woodworms that are on the surface of the wood. Any beetles further inside the wood fibres will not be affected, so we would advise you to contact a pest control service who specialise in treating woodworm.
Hi, will they set smoke alarms off?
Yes, the fumers will set off the smoke alarms. We would advise you to temporarily disconnect while you are using them.
Will this product treat moth infestation? We have moths in our wool carpet.
Yes, this product will treat moth infestations. Retreating every 7 - 10 days will ensure any hatched out eggs are treated too.
Will the kill dust mites?
Yes, it will kill dust mites. We would also recommend to follow up this treatment with our Protector C spray.
Will this product kill ticks eg in a cat hutch, shed or greenhouse?
Yes, it will kill ticks in a cat hutch, shed or greenhouse.
Will this product kill flour mites in a kitchen?
Yes, it will kill flour mites. However, we would advise you to remove opened packets of food prior to using and to wash work surfaces after use.
Will this kill wood lice in chimney ...
Yes, this product will kill woodlice in a chimney.
