What is the size and is there a manual variable thermostat.
The dimensions of the product are height 410mm x width 410mm x depth 100mm. This unit has a manual variable thermostat.
Does this need to be wired into the mains or does it use a normal plug (sorry no technical speak here!)
You can do either with this unit.
Is it possible to fit a timer to the 0.75Kw model, or use an electronic timer.
This model does not come with a timer but you could fit one to the plug socket if required.
Would this heater come on automatically when the room temperature falls? Can it be placed free standing in a bathroom with a different type of extension lead ( I just want it for the cold nights to prevent pipes freezing in loft bathroom) or do I have t
The heater would come on automatically when the room temperature falls below the temperature set on the thermostat. This unit has to be wall mounted and can be placed in a bathroom as it is IP rated but this would have to be spurred in.
How long is the flex supplied with this unit. Could I extend this to 2m if required
The lead is about 1 metre long and cannot be changed or extended.
Re: Elnur Wall Mounted Splash Proof Panel Heater with Thermostat and Timer 750 Watts:-
Is there a minimum height on a wall that this unit must be installed. We would wish to install it about 140mm above the floor.
The minimum clearance from the floor to the bottom of this heater is 20cm.
what side does the cable come out when facing the heater?
The cable comes out of the right hand side of the unit as you are looking at it on the wall.
what bathroom zone is this heater suitable for
This can be fitted in zone 3 of the bathroom.
can this heater be mounted upside down? strange question i know but the spur in my bathroom is quite high up and if i mounted it upside down the heat output would be more central to the room
This heater cannot be mounted upside down. It must be installed the correct way up. The air vents at the top of the heater allow the warm air to rise up and out of the grill.
Ask a question?
ELNUR PANEL HEATER; 75KW
You give a depth measurement of 100mm - is this the depth of the heater or the measurement from the wall to the front of the heater. I need to know how far it is from the wall to the front panel of the heater
The 100mm is the depth of the unit only. We would add another 4cm to 5cm for the brackets.
