According to the Manufacturer, copper pipe is advised.
Redring 150315 heater 10l x 3kW
you say EW need a drain
what is EW
This unit comes as a EW model and MW model. The difference being:
MW comes with a temp/pressure valve on the top
EW does not come with this but can be added as a optional extra.
Dear Sirs are any of your undersink water heaters able to be wired into a fused 13amp socket or do they all need to be on their own circuit wired imto their own outlet on the consumer unit. ? If any of them are can you advise which models if possible.
Water heaters under 3 KW may be wired into a 13 amp fused spur. Any KW over this would require it's own circuit.
How do I know if a pressure/temperature relief device is required
A qualified electrician/ Plumber would have to advise this once they assessed your personal circumstances.
Remote siting is mentionioned. Is there an advised maximum distance it can be mounted?
For example would 6-10m away from taps in a loft be ok?
There is no restriction on the maximum distance that the water heater can be placed from the taps. However, there may be slight heat loss in the hot water as the distance from the water heater to the tap increases.
Ask a question?
would this be suitable for a kitchen sink in a flat that is used once a day for washing up & rinsing the odd cup out. Also to supply a bathroom sink but not used at the same time.
We would advise you to choose the 15L version for a kitchen sink. Please see product code 150317 for further details.
