Specifications
Brand - Crown Water Heaters
Height - 39 cm
Width - 43 cm
Depth - 32 cm
Weight - 8.5 kg
  • Supported by HSDonline for over 10 years, this Crown water heater is one of our most popular under sink models
  • 15 litres of water is heated and stored ready for when you require it. Commonly used for hand washing and for washing up in a domestic sink.
  • Unlike other water heaters available; the fast flow pro unit can be connected to conventional taps and most mixer taps, eliminating the need for expensive vented taps that push up the price of installing a water heater
  • The unit itself has a indicator signal for when the unit is on or heating up the water within the unit (once the 15 litres has been used, you must wait for the unit to heat up a fresh amount of water as otherwise, cool water will be dispensed)
  • The casing is manufactured from durable and robust materials for when in use commercially, is easy to wipe clean for a hygienic and clean finish
  • Prewired including 1 metre of cable for connection to a 13 amp supply
  • 2000 watts consumption for a reduced energy use and cost compared to instant water heaters that can operate at over 5000 watts for the same function.
  • Fitted with a frost protection safeguard and temperature regulation down to 5°C for protection when used in utility rooms.
  • Huge sacrificial anode for long term installation and peace of mind
  • Full range of free accessories including: safety valve; wall hangers; screws & rawl plugs; nylon adapters for protection against electrolytic action with washers (for improved sealing) and comprehensive instructions
  • Accurate high limit thermostat to eliminate false ‘lock out’
  • If an expansion vessel is needed, HSDonline can provide a very competitively priced Kit ‘A’ 2L Expansion Vessel and Check Valve or a Kit ‘G/A’ with pre-assembled Mounting Bracket saving up to an hour on installation

Frequently asked questions

I want to put this under a domestic kitchen sink. How do I know if I need an expansion tank?
If the stop tap is closer than 4.2 metres to the unit, then an expansion vessel is required.
i want to use this product in a catering van, do i need to purchase pumps as well?
This unit can only be used with mains water and power feed.
how many kw is this machine? and is the hot water instant?
This unit is a 2KW heater and hold 15 litres of hot water.
I am interested in this product for a small church kitchen. What exactly would I need such as installation kit etc. and how much in total would it cost. Thank you Edith Gorst.
Depending on how far from the mains water you are installing it (if within 4.2 meters) an expansion vessel will be required. For ease and tidiness a mounting bracket can be purchased separately, or alternatively kit GA can be purchased which has both items - product code 146735.
can i mount this above worktop in cupboard and can i just take cold water feed straight in then hot outgoing straight to hot tap
Please see attached to our web site the full installation instructions for the unit.
We have just had an undercounter water heater only had it for 1 year the element went, do you know if this is sufficient for under a kitchen and how long a day can it be left on for or do I need to turn it off after each use?
This unit can be left on all the time and would cope with a house hold kitchen.
could this cope with three basins in a bowls club washroom
This water heater would struggle to supply water to three sinks. The flow rate of the water would be drastically reduced if more than one sink was used at once. We would recommend a 10L water heater per sink for optimum performance and reliability.
would the 15 litre fastflo pro work with a mixer shower valve.
This unit has 15mm connections therefore it depends upon the fitting itself. You may need a larger unit if you are connecting this unit to a shower. We would recommend 50Ltr plus for a shower or bath.
Can theses heaters be connected to the hot water tap in the kitchen.
This water heater can be used in the Kitchen to supply a Kitchen sink with hot water.
You state that the unit comes with 1m of wire. Can this be extened to reach the nearest power point ?
It is not advisable to add on to the supplied 1m wire. However, the unit can be opened up and re-wired with a new length of the required cable, but this must be carried out by a qualified Electrician.
I want to install an under sink water heater (not instantaneous) but I do not have an outside wall to run a vent through. How can I vent unit? can I run vent into sink waste pipe?
This unit does not need a vent on an outside wall. If the unit is to be placed within 4.2 metres of the mains water stop tap, you will require an expansion vessel. This can be placed alongside the heater under the sink.
The online manual says this unit must have a expansion relief valve that vents to an exterior drain. Your previous answer says this is not necessary. Please confirm this
Although the expansion vessel does need a vent, it does not necessarily need to be to an exterior drain. The vessel can be put to drain to a waste pipe but you will need to use a tundish if you are to use this method.

I have a log cabin in my garden where my family stay when they come to see me. I was looking at your flastflo pro product as an alternative to the lpg gas heater i have in there at the moment. Basically i want it for the bathroom which has a bath with a
This product would not be suitable to provide water to a bath, shower and sink. The minimum tank size we would recommend to supply water to these three outlets would be an 80L storage water heater. Please follow the link below to our range of storage heaters:

Hi is this suitable to use at a backwash basin in a small hair salon
Yes, this water heater would be suitable for your purpose. However, we would like to advise you that if the full 15L of hot water was to be completely used, it will take approximately 20 - 30 minutes to re-heat the water for use again.
