Specifications

  • This hand wash heater is designed in a modern way to provide heated water as the user requires it
  • Ideal for the catering industry through to isolated bathrooms in new builds and offices where you would be waiting for heated water to come through from the central hot water source
  • There is no need or requirement to needlessly heat and store water, wasting water and energy on a sink that may not be regularly used
  • The unit has been designed with convenience in mind and is easy to operate and the swivel spout can be moved for flexible delivery of hot water
  • The temperature of the water remains safe and constant with no concerns over burning or scalding
  • The spout head can be removed for descaling for long life use and the flow limiter automatically reduces the amount of water used, particularly useful for premises on water meters
  • 1 metre cable and 13 amp moulded plug for easy installation and set up
  • The tap can also provide cold water.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a problem with lime scale build up?
If you do get limescale build-up, the spout head is easily removed which can be descaled.
Hi, looking at putting these in girls and boys toilets in a sports centre, one of them for disabled. Would this be sufficient and do I need to add anything for expansion please?
This product would be suitable for your requirements. It is ideal for hand washing as it maintains a safe and comfortable water temperature. Since it is an instant water heater, there is no need for an expansion vessel.
can the temperature of the water be reduced to 42c, this is the H&S requirement in schools. Thanks Paul Dickson Estate Manager Warriner School Bloxham
The water temperature can be controlled by the flow rate of the water, therefore can be adjusted to around 42 degrees celcius. However, please be aware that the outlet temperature is also determined by the incoming temperature of the cold water, and can affect the temperature coming out of the tap.
is white the only option? i'd go for black if available
This is the only colour currently available.
is this WRAS aproved
WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) approved products tend to relate to controllable heat by a thermostat. This product is an instantaneous water heater which uses the flow rate and incoming water temperature to regulate the output temperature. Therefore, this is not WRAS approved. However, the product does have an inbuild safety thermal cut-out feature, so will not ever exceed 50 degrees C.
Is it possible to fit this to a bath? Will the water run hot long enough to fill a bath?
This instant water tap is not suitable for a bath. It is designed for a hand wash basin.
We run a Community Hall and would like this tap to be fitted in the toilets for hand washing.
This product would be ideal for your situation. The tap can provide both hot and cold water for a hand wash basin.
Hi could I fit one in a small catering trailer for hand washing, no mains water so could I use a pump Regards Kieran
Yes, as long as the pump can supply a constant water pressure between 0.2 and 6 bars.
