Fitted or Tie Tape Electric Under Blankets
Our range of Electric under blankets offer the user a choice of fitting, whether fully fitted using a deep elasticated skirt to fit like a fitted sheet, or alternatively the more traditional electric blankets with ties that tie to the mattress. We offer the leading brands of Electric underblankets including Homefront, Dreamland and Beurer. All main sizes are available with features including timers, multiple heat settings and dual, independent controls.
Electric underblankets are the traditional type of electric blanket. Placed on top of your mattress, with your bed sheet on top of the electric blanket, you can lie down as normal and be heated at a comfortable level from below. They are available in single, double, king and Super King size.
Different fitting styles have now developed to make the electric blanket more comfortable and less likely to move during the night.
Tie Tape Electric Underblankets:
The traditional way to fit a heated under blanket, these types of electric blanket have tie tapes on the four corners of the Electric blanket. These tie tapes are tied underneath the mattress to hold the heated underblanket in place.
Fully Fitted Electric Underblankets:
Fitted Underblankets fit like a fitted sheet. This type of Electric blanket has a deep elasticated skirt that stretches below the mattress and fits tightly. This design has become more and more popular as the fitted models do not move around in the night as much as tie tape models.
Dreamland Heated Underblankets:
Some of the Dreamland range of Electric Underblankets offers the intelliheat facility. This automatically adjusts the electric blanket throughout the night to ensure you stay at the optimum temperature and do not over heat. These facilities is available across both their fitted and tie tape range.
Homefront Fleece Electric Blankets:
The Homefront premium blankets offer independent settings for the body and feet sections of the Electric blanket. These allow you to have different heat settings for each part of the blanket.
Heated electric blankets will keep you warm and cosy throughout the winter, and can often save a huge amount of energy and money compared to using central heating or portable heating to heat your bedroom.
