Mitsubishi Jet Towel hand dryers are some of the most advanced on the market, with unique noise-suppressing technology and an efficient brushless motor. They're the kind of quality that you only get from 150 years of history.
Mistubishi Jet Towel high-speed hand dryers are known across the world for their incredible performance. They’re precisely-engineered using Mitsubishi’s patented technology to guarantee you the highest standards across the board, meaning Jet Towel hand dryers lead the way in efficiency, noise reduction, and drying time.
Both Jet Towel models can dry hands in 9-12 seconds depending on your heat setting. This fast drying time is convenient for customers but is also good news for businesses. It prevents queues from forming in your washroom and helps improve staff productivity. You may not think and extra minute spent drying hands is a big deal, and in isolation, it isn’t – however, those minutes soon add up over the course of a year!
A speedy drying time is also important for safety and hygiene reasons, too. If people are waiting around in your washroom with dripping wet hands, those drips will fall onto the floor. If this happens a lot, it will quickly create a slip hazard. Damp conditions also encourage mould and mildew to grow, which makes it harder for maintenance staff to clean your toilets.
All Jet Towel hand dryers are designed to be as quiet as possible. This is to make them more comfortable for everyone to use, and therefore more accessible for almost any washroom. As they’re not overwhelmingly loud, they can be used in places like care homes, nurseries, and smaller businesses where a noisy hand dryer can disrupt other areas of the business.
The Jet Towel Slim hand dryer has also been awarded the Quiet Mark, an international award that cements its place as one of the quietest hand dryers on the market. In the modern world, businesses have a responsibility to ensure their washroom facilities are as accessible as possible. The Quiet Mark allows you to advertise your washroom facilities as child-friendly and autism-friendly, so you don’t have to make any customers or staff feel excluded.
What sets Quiet Mark-approved hand dryers like the Jet Towel Slim apart is that they don’t compromise on performance. It’s actually really easy to make a quiet hand dryer by simply reducing its power. However, low-power hand dryers aren’t always the most practical as they take too long to dry your hands, causing queues and frustration in the washroom (not to mention wet hands dripping water all over the floor). The Quiet Mark is only awarded to high-quality hand dryers which dry hands quickly as well as quietly.
As they dry hands so quickly and efficiently, a Jet Towel hand dryer is ideal if you want your business to be more eco-friendly. They’ll reduce your energy usage and can be run for just a few pounds a year in electricity costs. Mitsubishi Jet Towel is also a GreenSpec-accredited brand. GreenSpec is a project which endorses environmentally friendly building materials and appliances, so businesses and building contractors can buy with confidence.
Both Jet Towel models also allow you to switch the heating element off, dramatically reducing your energy costs. This is a great way to keep your energy bills as low as possible while still offering a high-performance hand drying solution.
Unfortunately, all hand dryers do need to be vandal-proof, especially if they’re in public areas. The sturdy ABS plastic housing of the Jet Towel range ensures they’re resistant to dents, cracks, and scratches, even in very high-traffic areas. They also come with an extremely durable backplate making them incredibly difficult to tear away from the wall.
The housing of each unit is made from special anti-bacterial plastic. This ensures any bacteria that come into contact with the hand dryer are killed immediately, making cleaning a breeze. They’re also designed with maintenance in mind, with an easy-to-reach filter that allows you to simply brush clear to prevent dust buildup.
iPhone users can download the Mitsubishi Jet Towel app from the App Store to get detailed information on both Jet Towel hand dryers before they buy. This app allows you to preview what your dryer will look like when it's installed, estimate running costs, and more.
Every Mitsubishi hand dryer is engineered with the excellence that only comes from over 150 years of experience. For a century and a half, Mitsubishi has been a market leader in the industrial world. Founded in 1870 by Japanese businessman Yataro Iwasaki, the company was initially a shipping business. Having seen the end of almost 300 years of war during the Edo period, Japan was a rapidly changing country. It was more open to modern industry and global trade, and the newly-formed Mitsubishi grew quickly as a result.
Before the turn of the 1900s, they diversified into banking, mining, and manufacturing. They continued to grow quickly under the management of the Iwasaki family until Koyata Iwasaki – the nephew of Yataro – took control. To help keep up with the growing diversification, he split Mitsubishi into several smaller companies, one of which – Mitsubishi Electric – went on to create the hand dryers you can see on this page!
These days, Mitsubishi Electric is itself a global company with several subdivisions. They’ve been responsible for innovations in digital displays and TVs, car sat navs, robotics, and more alongside their amazing high-speed hand dryers.
