Here at HSD we off a complete range of convenient and easy to use remote control fans giving you the power to change your settings at the push of the button without however to leave the comfort of your seat. Our range covers Towers fans, pedestal fans, air coolers and ceiling fans.
Of course, the most obvious benefit of using remote-controlled units is the convenience. With the help of a remote, you can turn your unit on and off, adjust the speed settings, control oscillation and swing or even set the timer all without having to leave the comfort of your desk or sofa!
However, there are other benefits of remote control you may not be aware of especially with our ceiling and wall mountable fans. A lot of ceiling fans tends to be controlled via pull cords that hang from the main unit, this can unfortunately sometimes ruin the overall aesthetic of a room so a remote is a more discreet option not to mention you do not need to adjust the drop of your fan as low in order to reach the pull cords.
Additionally, our wall mounted fans can be utilised in such a way as to cover more space and improve airflow and cooling in larger areas such as shops and warehouses. As you will no longer need to have the control panel in direct reach to be able to control the unit the amount allows for our wall mounted fans to be installed high up by windows or air conditioning vents in order to maximise coverage.
At HSD we always look to provide a wide variety of choices to ensure you are able to pick the perfect product to suit your need and this is no different with our collection of remote-controlled cooling solutions.
We offer Tower fans, ceiling fans, air coolers, desk fans and pedestal fans all equipped with remote controls. So if you are looking for the additional cooling effects provided by our air coolers to help ease the summer months, or you want to invest in a sleek and stylish looking tower fan for your home or office all with the added convenience of a fan we’ve got you covered here at HSD.
This stylish and sleek tower fan is a great addition to your home or office during the hotter summer months. It is incredibly slimline so is a great space-saving solution for those areas with restricted space and the attractive design makes it an eye-catching piece rather than an eyesore!
Tower fans are low volume and are great for us at home or in an office where minimal noise disruption is desirable and this particular unit comes with a dark mode so it can be used throughout the night without any bright lights on the display ruining your sleep.
The remote allows you to control not only the power, speed and oscillation it also gives you control over the display brightness and allows you to set a timer, so if you only want your fan on for a couple of hours while you try to fall asleep on those warm summer nights you can use your remote to set it so the fan will automatically turn off.
The prem-i-air oscillation wall mounted fan is a perfect solution for larger areas such as warehouses and stores where having a fan stood on a side or in the corner is not convenient or practical. It can be placed upon the wall out of reach freeing up floor space.
Having units wall-mounted, especially high up near windows and air vents will allow for the airflow more freely and cover larger areas improving the overall cooling effect. The remote remove any restrictions on how high you place your fan as you would not need to access the main control panel on the unit as all functions are accessible via the remote. This also makes it a great choice for classrooms and other areas with children where you want the benefits of a cool breeze but kept safely out of the reach of little hands.
Air coolers are one of the best ways to keep cool when the temperature is on the rise. It has increased the cooling effects of a normal fan and is much cheaper to run than air conditioning units meaning you get the best of both worlds.
Inside each Air Cooler, you’ll find a fan, a water tank, and a sheet of absorbent material. By filling the tank up with cold water, it is then gradually absorbed by the cooling pad. The water in the pad then evaporates, this sucks out some of the heat and produces a blast of cool air greater than that you would find with a normal fan.
The MYLEK 10L Air cooler has a large capacity water tank which means it will cooler large rooms without the need to constantly refill the tank. It is also very lightweight and the wheels on the base of the unit make it easy to move from room to room, so you don’t need additional units simply place the air cooler wherever you need it.
All the features of this unit, from the speed setting, cool setting, oscillation and ioniser can all be accessed from the remote control for added convenience.
Ceiling fans are a classing and stylish addition to any room, and what’s more, they are excellent sources of cooling during those warm days and with the flick of a switch they can be used to improve the heating in a room too. This makes them an excellent investment to achieve the perfect temperature in any room all year round.
The flat paddle-like blades are much larger than those found on regular fans so they are ideal for use in larger rooms and living spaces. The speed of the blades creates a downward flow of air that brushes over your skin creating a continuous cooling effect. While reversing the blades creates an updraft that pulls cold air upwards allowing the warm air created from heaters and radiators to stay at the bottom of the room so you can feel the full benefits.
Often the only downside to ceilings fans can be the pull cords used to control them, sometimes these can run the risk of looking dated, or simply mean the fan has to hand much lower than you would like to give easy access to these controls.
The Westinghouse Bendan fan removes this issue by using a remote control instead of the classic pull cords. Giving you full control of your ceiling fan without the need of stretching up or moving to the mains switch on the wall.
