Simple Step-by-Step Instructions
- Turn off the macerator pump
- Pour 1.5–2.5 litres of cleaner directly into the toilet bowl, or the full bottle for larger systems
- Let it sit for 2 hours
- Turn the macerator back on, allow it to pump out the solution then flush once it has stopped pumping
- Flush again after it has finished to completely rinse the macerator out

We had a major problem and had arranged for a plumber. We followed the instructions on the Pro-Kleen but the problem wasn't solved within the timescale suggested. However we had to leave the fluid in for another day or so as the plumber couldn't get right away. We just tried it to see if there was any improvement and it had complete sorted it. Saved us a lot of money, We will definitely use it routinely as suggested on the bottle. It's effective stuff.

The power switch is deep behind a panel in the loft, what’s the reduction in effectiveness of the product?
We would Highly recommend that the power switch is off to maximise the contact time during the ‘2-hour soak. If it is switched on, then it will reduce the contact time and hence reduce the effectiveness as it may pump it out.
