The Most Effective Way to Get Rid of Silverfish
Silverfish have been around for over 400 million years, which should tell you just how tough they are! This multi-room silverfish killer kit is the most effective way to get rid of them as it gives you multiple methods of attack – it contains both surface treatments and contact aerosols that you can use anywhere in the home.
Natural Non-Toxic Insecticides
All the products in this kit are derived from pyrethrum, a natural chemical that comes from chrysanthemum daisies. This means they’re suitable for use in the home, workplace, or public hygiene areas such as kitchens and care homes. You can also use this kit on fabrics and soft furnishings if necessary, as the Protector range uses a non-staining formula that doesn’t leave a lingering odour. As silverfish will often be found near food sources, old fabric, or bookshelves, this is important as it means this kit won’t damage sensitive items.
This Kit Contains:
2 Protector Natural Aerosol Silverfish Killer
This fast-acting aerosol is great for when you actually catch sight of a silverfish. Silverfish are extremely fast, so you need a concentrated aerosol spray that disperses quickly. This means that it’ll kill the silverfish even if they only come into contact with a small amount.
Protector C Insecticidal Surface and Space Spray
Silverfish like to hide and will often be most active when no one is around. This means you’ll need to use Protector C as a space spray to treat the surfaces in your home. When the silverfish walks over a treated surface, the insecticide will quickly start to work. Use Protector C to treat the areas where you know silverfish are present; usually around food cupboards, grain stores, and bookshelves. You should also spray it around any obvious cracks around your home as it’s likely silverfish are using them to get around.
Residex P Dusting Powder
While Protector C is suitable for use in most sensitive areas (like carpets and other fabrics), it can’t be used everywhere. For areas around plug sockets, fuse boxes, and other electrical components, you’ll need to use this dusting powder. It contains the same ingredients as the sprays, but it comes in a dry powder form. This also means you can drop it into cracks in your flooring!
Everything in this kit is HSE approved and suitable for amateur use.
