What size do we need for our queen size bed, dimensions 200cm X 152cm

We do not stock Queen size blankets.

Does the ACHPFD Double blanket require one or two Electric socket and, if one, is it to the left or right.

The Homefront double electric blanket will require two electric sockets, one for each side of the blanket.

The skirt is between 9 and 12 inches deep. The only mattress an electric blanket can't cover is a memory foam mattress.

As the wires in the blanket take away from the support the memory foam provides.

What is the highest temperature it can get to? Does it have dual controls?

This unit is dual controlled and the max temperature this throw reaches is 32°C.

Hi, I understand that if the safeguard feature cuts in because the blanket overheats you have to buy a new controller. I cannot find anything anywhere about where to buy a new controller. I'd be greatful for any help you can give!

These would be replaced under the warranty, if within the warranty period. The availability to purchase spare controllers would depend on the age of the blanket.

The Homefront Premium Luxury Electric Blanket cannot be used with any waterproof sheet covering, due to this being extremely unsafe. We would not recommend to use any electric blanket if there is any chance of the blanket becoming wet.

The dual control does mean you can have separate temperature settings on each side of the blanket.

How large is the foot zone -- i.e. how far from the end of the bed does it extend? Is it possible to have feet heated and rest of blanket unheated?

The foot area is about 12"(30cm) and the heating element is around 7"(18cm) from the end of the blanket. The foot area can be controlled separately to the body area.

The connector plugs are at shoulder level when laid on the blanket.

You would have to purchase the correct size for the bed size. However, the fitted skirt is elasticated so it will fit tight to most size mattresses.

Yes, the manufacturer confirm that this can be used together.

The NHS pacemaker web site says, “The following items do not affect the function of your pacemaker. Electric blankets, heating pads and portable space heaters.“ Why do you say not suitable for pacemaker please? https://www.wwl.nhs.uk/Specialities/Cardiology/pacemaker_faq.aspx

No, after turning the power off the controller will revert back to settings temperature 9 9 and timer 1.

The pre-heat setting heats the electric blanket 10-15 minutes before going to bed and then achoose a lower temperature. The body and the feet on both sides of the bed can be controlled separately.
