- The largest electric fly killer in the range, this 40 watt model from Levante Hygiene is designed with a especially large grid, to cover the entire length of the bulbs. As a result, the flies are guaranteed to hit the killing grid whatever part of the bulbs they are attracted to.
- With a coverage of 150 square metres, making this unit perfect for larger areas such as behind the scenes in restaurants, kitchen areas and other light commercial uses
- For ease of installation the venus can be mounted via ceiling chain, wall mounted and simply stood on a hard surface.
- For maximum attractiveness to flies, we would recommend using the unit either ceiling hung or wall mounted.
- We recommend placing the unit in a shadowed or a dark as area as possible and at a height of 1.6 metres from the floor to fully combat the natural sunlight which distracts the flies from the killing grid.
- The large collection tray ensures it can be sited in a busy area without the need to constantly empty the tray.

As we live in a rural area , with cattle and horses around, we suffer from flies at some times of year. We have possibly not tested the killer fully so far as insect numbers are fairly low but it has kept our loft insect free and there are some insects in the tray, which is a huge improvement than our previous one.

Can you tell me the dimensions of this unit please
The dimensions are W 630mm x H 315mm x D90mm.
Can the collection tray be permanently removed from the Venus Levante 30w and the unit will still operate?
This electric fly killer will not operate if the tray is removed.
Two questions:
1) Can this unit be wall-mounted (inverted keyholes on the back eg)?
2) Assuming these fluoro tubes have conventional ballasts, how accessible are the starters, please?
This electric fly killer is wall mountable. The starters are easily accessible at the top of the unit. You twist and pull out.
How long is the lead and has it a plug on
The lead is 1m long and the unit comes supplied with a standard three pin plug.
The switch on right hand side shows a lever and a rocker switch with 0/1 on the 40watt model. Does this mean you can have one bar on
if required, but for a stronger option two bars, therefore reducing the power when not required.
A reply would be appreciated.

No, the switch with 0/1 is the off/on switch. The fly killer will run at the full 40W power and cannot be adjusted.
Will this also kill moths?
It will, although it isn't designed for moths so some larger moths may not fit through the safety cage.
