Is it possible to change the settings on the controllers silently i.e. so that if I adjust it during the night it wouldn't wake up my wife.

Yes the settings do not beep when changed you would just slide the heat setting either up or down according to your needs

I can’t seem to unplug the controls for washing, how do you separate the controls from the blanket

The controls are disconnected from the blanket at the connector on the blanket. There is a little plastic tab with a small raised plastic 'dot' in the middle. Lift the plastic tab to release the connector plug and pull out.

I have a king size bed but thinking a super king size blanket would be best so you are not lying on the controls ?

We would not advise you to use a larger size blanket to your bed size. The heating elements running through the blanket will bend over and down the sides of the mattress and may damage, causing the blanket to not heat evenly.

We do have replacement controllers for this blanket, but they are 4 pinned only. If you detach the controller from the connection at the blanket, there is a series of metal pins. If the connections are not 4 pinned, this will not be compatible. Please see product code 230635 for further details.

Yes, as long as the two sides of the bed remain zipped together, both mattresses are not adjustable, and the dimensions of the two mattresses fit the measurements of the blanket (203 x 182 x 32 cm).

Hi can the controllers be removed before putting the sheetIinto the wash machine? ?

The controllers MUST be removed before putting the mattress cover into the washing machine. Before re-attaching the controller to the blanket, please make sure the contacts are completely dry.

Can you tell me where the cable connects, please? I'm looking for a blanket with a bottom connection as I'm fed up with sleeping on a 'lump'. thanks

The connection is about shoulder length. However, as an alternative option, our heated duvets and overblankets have the connection at the bottom allowing them to be placed inside a duvet cover.

There is a small gap so that the blanket can be controlled by the seperate sides of the bed.
