This heater will not save the settings if turned off at the plug socket.

Is this suitable for a log cabin bedroom 6foot x 6 foot
does it have a frost free mode we could leave the heater on for periods where the cabin is unnatended? does this convect heat?
is there a better option you sell for the application i require?
This heater does have a frost protection mode. If the walls of the log cabin can take the weight of 3.2Kg, then the heater would be suitable. The heater has an overheat safety cut out feature so is safe to be left unattended for shorter periods of time. (All electrical appliances should be checked regularly). The heat is convection.
What would the running costs be with thermostat set for 10c for 24 hours for small shed 6feet x 4 feet x7 feet. thanks.
The running costs are 5p per hour, so for 24 hours it would cost £1.20 (based on your energy provider charging 10p per KwH). This is on the highest temperature on the thermostat, so will cost less to run on a lower temperature.
Is the 500w model of this heater suitable to heat a small garage conversion into a studio, size 3mts x 2.2mts x 2mts high, or will I need the 1kw size. Thanks Mick Sumner
We have calculated a room of that size would require a 1.5Kw heater. (We have based this on obtaining a temperature of around 18°C with average insulation).
Is the heater silent when it is on, or does it have a fan making a noise?
This heater does not have a fan, but the unit will make slight clinking noises as the metal element and casing heats and cools down.
What are the dimensions?
Dimensions : Product Dimensions (mm)H 440mm xW 402mm x D119mm 40mm extra for bracket
Does it just plug in
Yes, this heater plugs into a standard UK mains electricity plug socket.
Does this have a thermostat? Or doesn't it need one because of difference settings? What are the diff settings please ?
This heater does have an adjustable thermostat. The settings are between 3 and 31 degrees Celsius.
Hi can you tell me the depth of the brackets for wall mounting.
The depth of the brackets are approximately 3 - 4cm.
Would this heater be suitable for a 5berth (21ft) touring caravan. I am looking to replace the broken carver gas heater with an electric panel heater. I have the following space available (W730mm x H550mm) to house the panel heater and wonder if this wo
As long as the caravan's electrics can take the load of the 500W required for this Panel Heater, this would be suitable for your requirements. We would recommend you make sure there is a clearance of 6"(15cm) above the heater, an 8"(20cm) clearance to the sides and a 2"(5cm) clearance below.
Does the folowing prouct have a cut out swich incase it overheat?
500w Electric Panel Heater with Programmable 7 Day Timer and LCD Touch Pad Controls
This product does have a safety cut off in case of overheating.
What temperature is the frost setting... I.e what does room temperature need to drop to before the heater comes on whilst set at frost setting
The temperature for the frost setting is around 5°C.
